After two incredible years serving as President of the ISA Ireland Section, it’s time to pass on the chain! It has been an honour to support the Ireland Section, working alongside a passionate committee of volunteers dedicated to advancing automation and supporting professionals across Ireland.
There has been some huge achievements—from hosting our cybersecurity conference in 2023 and 2024, making connections within the global ISA community and also being honoured with a ‘Section Excellence’ award in 2024 from International Society of Automation (ISA) by Claire Fallon and Prabhu Soundarrajan at the awards event in South Carolina, USA, to name a few highlights.
I’m grateful for the support of our members, volunteers, and partners who have made these past two years so rewarding, and to everyone in ISA HQ including Rachael McGuffin, CAE and the team for all their help over the past two years.
I’m delighted to hand over the presidency to Patrick C., whose vision and passion for automation will undoubtedly drive ISA Ireland to even greater heights. Wishing Pat every success in this new chapter!
